Ingredients:
800g small okra
1.2 kg beef chunks (beef shin or stewing steak), cut into 3 cm pieces.
1 Large onion, finely chopped
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
700 ml tomato juice
700 ml tomato juice
3 tablespoons tomato puree
whole spicy chili pepper
1 tablespoon beef spices and 1 teaspoon cumin
Salt and fresh ground black pepper
1/2 cup of beef stock (or any other stock)

Melt the butter in a deep pot over medium heat. Add the onion with a pinch of salt and black pepper, fry for 3 minutes then add chili pepper and continue stirring.

Add the beef chunks and fry until nicely browned on all the sides.Then add half of the minced garlic, cumin, the beef spices and stir for 5 minutes.

Add tomato juice and puree, mix it together with beef chunks. Season well with salt and fresh ground pepper. Cook for 30 minutes on a medium-low heat until the liquid is reduced.

Add the okra to the sauce and mix it together with 1/2 cup of beef stock. Put them in the preheated tagine and place it in the oven for 30 minutes until cooked.
