
Ingredients:
300 g minced beef
300 g minced lamb
2 green pepper bells, seeded
2 hot chili pepper, seeded
1 large onion, peeled & roughly chopped
1 teaspoon all spices
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cumin
5 fresh pita bread
5 garlic cloves, peeled
Salt and fresh black ground pepper
2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley and coriander mixed together
200 g cheddar cheese, sliced

Use your food processor to chop onion, garlic, herbs, bell pepper and chilli pepper.

In a large bowl, mix beef mince, lamb mince, vegetable mixture, spices, cumin, nutmeg and season with salt and pepper.

Roll meat mixture into 5 balls. Open the bread and spread a thin layer of meat then lay the cheddar cheese slice on the top. Repeat with remaining meat mixture and bread.

Lightly brush the pita bread with the melted butter. Preheat a chargrill or a barbeque on high. Cook meat bread side down for 10 mins, until skin in well, browned and crispy then cook the other side. for 5 mins.
