Ingredients:

800 g sliced veal liver, washed and drained

5 garlic cloves, finely chopped

Salt and cracked black pepper

1 teaspoon ground cumin

2 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, grated

Vegetable oil for deep frying

50 g Wheat bran

For reserving: tahini salad and beta bread

Directions:

    In a large bowl mix all the spices together with garlic and lemon juice. Add liver season with salt and pepper and mix all together well and keep aside.

    Put wheat bran it in a shallow dish or on a plate. Drain marination from the liver, and coat slices in the bran very well. Set aside in the fridge for 10. minutes

    In a deep frying pan, preheat oil to medium-high.Place the coated liver slices in the pan. Cook until nice and golden on the bottom. Turn, and cook on the other side until golden brown.

    Remove to a paper towel-lined sheet tray. Serve with tahini sauce and beta bread.
